As part of the 'Walking into the Silk Road Economic Belt Core Zone' initiative, a major international #MediaDelegation recently visited Saurer's flagship factory in China. The journalists were from Germany, Italy, Belarus, Egypt, South Africa and other countries. The visit to our factory gave them the chance to experience first-hand the innovation and precision behind Saurer's high-end, intelligent machines and manufacturing processes.
During their visit to our state-of-the-art facility, the delegation toured the production lines for machine manufacturing and the intelligent warehousing systems. They also had the chance to see our spinning machinery in action, learn about our digital and smart technologies and observe the transformation of cotton into fine, high-quality yarn.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. One German journalist remarked on the impressive level of intelligent manufacturing and efficient factory management. Others expressed keen interest in our R&D direction and global strategy, particularly with regard to markets along the Silk Road.
This visit highlighted both our commitment to #ManufacturingExcellence and our dedication to innovation, quality, and #GlobalCollaboration.
An interesting historical fact is that the ancient Silk Road, which was active from the 2nd century BCE to the 14th century CE, was a vast network of trade routes that connected China with Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. It played a crucial role in the exchange of goods, cultures and ideas, laying the foundation for #GlobalTrade and cooperation.
